Is it written by the usual style of philisophical article? It is very difficult to understand even I have the basic knowledge of logic (sufficient, necessary conditions) I have used an hour to read.

Quite right, it is the usual style of hhilosophical writing. It requires some basic understanding in moral philosophy so it may not be easy to read. However, I have tried my very best to make the article as simple and plain as possible.

Really an interesting piece of work to read while I am doing those less interesting papers on Rousseau. A few points wanna share with you: (1) It reminds me of Dworkin's Taking Rights Seriously when you talked about the fetus' right to life in relation to the mother's right to use her own body, I wonder who are the philosophers who propose the most acceptable concept of rights (Thompson?Dworkin? Or somebody else?) (2) I really love your style of }ߡC (3) Is it originally a piece of assignment? Frankly, I have no habbit of writing articles after reading. Of course I know that it is a good practice to organize our ideas and to improve argumentative skills. Yet, I just find myself unable to do so much writing. Please share your experience with me!

Biby, It is a piece of assignment for the course 'moral problem' though it is not a very formal one (no footnote through the whole essay). For the point of right, it is difficult to say which account is the most acceptable one among philosophers. R. Dworkin is famous for his book 'Taking rights seriously' but it is vigorously criticized by some other philosophers. For competemporary discuss of the topic, I recommend u read Thomas Pogge article 'understanding rights' (there is a chin version in the Philosophy Dept of CU). P.S. What are u going to study next yr? I cannot get it in ur diary.
